2019 Death Ride® on July 13th

I’ll be out Friday afternoon with a few members of the Tahoe Douglas Elk’s Lodge. Rest stops for Saturday’s Death Ride® need to be stocked with water and supplies.  Located in our own backyard, the course covers five mountain passes including both sides of Monitor Pass, both sides of Ebbetts Pass, and the final climb up the east side of Carson Pass.  The race starts and finishes at Turtle Rock Park outside Markleeville.  Riding 129 miles and climbing over 15,000 feet in one day is a daunting task.  Watch out for bikers and visitors if you have plans to visit the area on Saturday, July 13^th.  Go Biker’s!
